Our Story • Family • Craft • Responsibility
Built by One Generation. Carried Forward by the Next.
The story of Santoshi Leather Works began in the 1970s with Mr. Tomar. More than five decades later, the craft, responsibility, and determination behind that beginning continue through the family that grew alongside the business.
Where It Began
A Small Beginning Built Around Honest Work
In the 1970s, Mr. Tomar began building Santoshi Leather Works around leather craftsmanship, practical work, and a simple responsibility: make the product properly and stand behind the work.
There was no international website, no private-label program, and no export strategy in the beginning. There was leather, tools, skill, long working days, and the determination to build something worth continuing.
Over time, the workshop grew, the product range expanded, and the customers changed. But the foundation remained personal. The name behind the work still mattered.
Some businesses inherit a name. We inherited a responsibility.
To carry the work forward without losing what made it worth carrying. The Family Did Not Simply Take Over the Business
The next generation grew around the work, learned the products, took on responsibility, and carried the business forward with the same energy that shaped it in the beginning.
They Learned the Work
Manufacturing knowledge was not separated from the family. It was learned through years of involvement with leather, products, buyers, problems, and everyday production.
They Carried the Responsibility
Continuing a family business means more than keeping the doors open. It means protecting the reputation that the previous generation spent decades building.
They Kept Building
New buyers, new products, new markets, and international B2B relationships became part of the business without removing its original hands-on character.
From a Leather Workshop to a B2B Manufacturing Partner
Today, Santoshi Leather Works manufactures leather goods for wholesalers, distributors, retailers, uniform suppliers, equestrian businesses, institutional channels, importers, and private-label buyers.
Leather Belts
Formal, casual, work, uniform, wholesale, and private-label leather belt manufacturing.
Police, Duty & Uniform Gear
Leather duty belts and professional uniform gear for qualified supply programs.
Leather Holsters
Civilian carry, service carry, security, wholesale, and private-label leather holster programs.
Horse Tack & Equestrian Leather
Headstalls, breast collars, reins, saddle accessories, and private-label tack programs.
The Business Changed. The Responsibility Did Not.
Santoshi Leather Works has evolved over the decades, but the qualities that matter most to a manufacturing relationship are still the same.
Then
- Local leather craftsmanship
- Hands-on production
- Family responsibility
- Products made to serve their purpose
- Relationships built personally
Today
- International B2B manufacturing
- Still hands-on production
- Still family responsibility
- Products built around buyer specifications
- Long-term manufacturing partnerships
More Than Five Decades Later
Mr. Tomar Is Still Part of the Work
Now in his 80s, Mr. Tomar remains actively involved. The business he began decades ago is no longer carried by one pair of hands, but his presence remains part of Santoshi Leather Works.
That matters to the family. It is a reminder that the company did not begin as a marketing idea. It began as work, responsibility, and persistence.
The next generation has taken the business into new markets, new product programs, and new international relationships, but the founder is still there to see the work continue.
What the Family Carried Forward
Every generation adds something new. The responsibility is to make sure the important things are not lost along the way.
Work Before Words
Manufacturing credibility is earned through the product, not through claims alone.
Respect the Buyer
Listen carefully, understand specifications, communicate clearly, and do not pretend a project is understood when it is not.
Protect the Reputation
A family reputation built over decades is worth more than the convenience of a short-term shortcut.
Build for the Next Order
The strongest B2B relationship is not the first purchase order. It is the buyer choosing to return.
A Family Manufacturer Working With a Global Market
Santoshi Leather Works now looks beyond the local market, building manufacturing relationships with businesses seeking reliable leather production and long-term supply.
United States
Leather manufacturing for wholesalers, distributors, retailers, uniform suppliers, Western businesses, equestrian buyers, and private-label programs.
Europe
B2B manufacturing for importers, distributors, specialty retailers, equestrian businesses, and private-label leather brands.
Australia & International Markets
Manufacturing support for equestrian, Western, outdoor, professional, wholesale, and private-label leather programs.
The Story Continues
The Next Chapter Is Still Being Made
What began with Mr. Tomar in the 1970s continues today through the family that grew alongside the business. Every new product, every repeat order, and every long-term customer becomes another small part of that story.
We are proud of where Santoshi Leather Works began. We are even more interested in where strong partnerships can take it next.
