Santoshi Leather Works began in the 1970s with Mr. Tomar. More than five decades later, the family continues the work with the same hands-on energy, responsibility, and respect for leather craftsmanship that shaped the business from the beginning.
Where It Began
A Small Beginning Built Around Honest Work
In the 1970s, Mr. Tomar began Santoshi Leather Works around leather craftsmanship, practical manufacturing, and a simple responsibility: make the product properly and stand behind the work.
The business began with leather, tools, skill, long working days, and the determination to build something worth continuing.
Over the decades, the workshop developed, the manufacturing range expanded, and new markets opened. But one thing remained personal: the family name and reputation behind the work.
Some businesses inherit a name. We inherited a responsibility.

Mr. Tomar Is Still Part of the Work
Now in his 80s, Mr. Tomar remains actively involved with Santoshi Leather Works. The business he began decades ago is no longer carried by one pair of hands, but his presence remains part of the company.
For the family, that connection matters. It is a reminder that Santoshi Leather Works did not begin as a brand concept. It began with work, responsibility, skill, and persistence.
The next generation has taken the business into new products, new markets, and international relationships, while the founder remains there to see the work continue.
